DirectX and OpenGL United
I havn't really messed with either DirectX or OpenGL, but before I start have another question. Can you use DirectX and OpenGL in the same game? Example: Using DirectSound and DirectInput along with the graphics of OpenGL.
Along with that question how is the windows view plane setup? Does it have all 4 quadrants of the cartesian plane, or just a single quadrant? I know that different video modes have different quadrants that they use, but I was just wondering what the quadrants for the main video mode used are.
