New Electronic piece with a heavy emphasis on the old 8 bit sound. 'Trippin the Night Fantastic' is the title of the piece. I could really use some feedback on composition. NightRide Thanks, Ryan
Hey Ryan,

Just listened to your Nightrider tune all of the way through. Man- some really nice 8-bit sounds and some really good ideas going on here!! One of the best things about this piece is the way it keeps morphing and changing, which keeps the listener more tuned in instead of thinking "oh this is just another repeat...again!" Good job!

The only thing that struck me as a little weak was the ending. It felt like it just lost steam and stopped right at the end- with the single note holding over a bit. I think having one note ending the piece is fine- I just don't think the ending is prepared as well as it could be.

Overall, a really fun piece with some awesome sounds. Made me feel like I was playing my old NES again!

:)

Just realized it is called Nightride, not Nightrider. :( Man, and I was imagining Kit driving around and looking cool and stuff.

Nathan, thanks!

hehe, I think I was trying to subliminally just use the term 'nightrider' as a tactic. Ya know, by associating the song with Hasselhoff, the song is bound to be a success. /sarcasm :D

Thanks for the nice comments. :) Yea, the ending's terrible. There is no buildup and then it just farts out.
B O R I N G.
Still, to be fair, I thought it would be best for the piece to at least be consistent. :P

heh thanks man,

Ryan
