When I copy the backbuffer to a DX7 sysmem surface, the game goes from 75FPS to 5FPS until I close the game, on my GeForce256 and laptop it works fine.. why does this happen? Ive tried the latest S3 drivers with no luck..

When using S3 Savage (also i815?), bltting speed between different size rectangles is terribly slow. To avoid a drop of FPS, adjust the size of source rectangle to the same as destination''s.
