I was wondering if anyone could point me in the way of a good site for game engine development/info. I have been looking for a while and have not been able to find anything that has really helped me. The reason i ask is that i have a project due that involves making an engine and i am currently lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated. http://www.realtimerendering.com has a ton of fantastic info, but a lot of it is pretty heavy reading. How complicated of an engine are you planning for? What platform and API are you considering?

www.Auran.com look for Jet is a whole game development tool set written in C++ (it uses OGL though).

You can see how they organized thier interfaces if you are interested in creating a game mediator (read OOD engine).
