Editor / IDE
Hi,
does anybody know a good Editor/IDE, that I can use with the (free) Borland C++ Compiler 5?
Perhaps something like the IDE of Visual C++?
thx,
Fallen
I know the kind of thing you are asking for exists, but I don''t know of one. What I do know of, however, is a text editor with syntax coloring. It supports C, C++, Perl, Java, BASIC, HTML, and a few more. You can even add your own color templates! I forget where I originally downloaded it, but the program is called Editor 99. You can probably find it at winfiles.com, or if that doesn''t work, try Altavista. Editor 99 is the program I use when I can''t be at home with MSVC++ (it fits on a floppy with plenty of room to spare for code).

I''m interested in this also. Anyone else got an answer? I''ve actually got the Borland C++ 3.0 for DOS on my system and I''m wondering if anyone know if I can use THAT with the newer version 5 tools.
