How many projects has never been finished?
Hope I wrote the subject right..
Anyway.. Just thought how many projects have you just leaved behind? (I have only few full applications, but many many unfinished projects. When a new idea comes in my head, I start programming it and after while, I get bored and start another project.. After few months, someone asks me what applications have I done? I''ll start thinking, but I can only say I have this and that, but they are unfinished!)
while (boring)

OK, I''ll have to admit, 30% of those are becouse of that reason
How did you..
How did you..
Well, I have like 2-3 complete projects, and roughly 200 projects left behind... and it''s getting worse every day

Hallo!
I have around hmm uhmm 30 projects that never got finished. I quess that when you find the project that really feels right it will be finished with alot of determination

I don''t have one unfinished project yet. I believe, that no matter how boring/hard it gets, that you should ALWAYS finish what you start. Even if it is mind-numbingly boring.

I have maybe 1 or 2 *finished* projects. (not counting work-related stuff). For me the fun in programming is solving the problem. Once I get far enough along that it clear that I''ve figured it out and it''s just a matter of slogging through all the details I get bored and find another problem.

Software is never done. You either run out of time or patience.
- The trade-off between price and quality does not exist in Japan. Rather, the idea that high quality brings on cost reduction is widely accepted.-- Tajima & Matsubara
Smart people get bored very easily, and this industry only accepts smart people, so it''s not surprising that nearly all programmers leave behind a vast amount of unfinished business. I suffer from this bane myself, although I''m not happy about it. But it''s not like I can force myself to be un-bored.
This doesn''t just include programming projects, of course. I''ve got other works locked in the closet, like pen-and-paper games and whatnot. Most of my programming endeavors have been experiments rather than projects. I live the mathematician''s nightmare, which is to test if something works and assume it can be accomplished in full force later. But this is almost never the case.
I like to think that one of these days, when I''m out of school and work steady hours, I''ll pick up all those old dreams, dust them off, and finish them. Time will tell.
By the way, my current project is a game engine, which I plan to use to finish something else.

GDNet+. It's only $5 a month. You know you want it.
You just described me:
I get bored with things after about 2-4 days.
I''ve never finnished a game . I''ve been modeling lately, so I put off my current game. I plan on completing my current game though. It''s withing my limits, so I CAN complete it. It''s a mixture of 3D and 2D . Tile collision = easy collision :D.
