3d graphics modeling

does anyone know what tool can i use to model 3d graphics for games under linux? i have tried blender, but i dont know the format of the files, so i cannot import them in my game
Im sure someone has written a 3d file format converter for blender, try looking around for one, cuz blender is the best modelor for linux....(Well If you dont mind feelin like your playin'' UT or Q3 cuz you always have your left hand on the keyboard:-)

You might want to check out Vertex3D, it''s available
for Linux and it''s specifically targetted towards game
modelling.

There''s two problems that I need to point out, it''s still
in its early stages of development, and second it''s
extremely low-level, meaning no single referances for
spheres and other composed objects.

However there is support for handling inert data and
multiple embedded models (this is not a modeller for
ray tracers).

It also has a IO library for its file format, but again
Vertex 3D currently is in alpha.
