hi my friend is having trouble getting his usb ports to work. he says he needs the usb drivers. could someone please upload them im not sure if they would work with his pc. thanks to anyone that can figure this happening out return(0);

Windows 98 has USB enabled by default. Here are some other items to look for.

1) Are they running win95? If so it won''t work.

2) Check device manager for USB devices or unknown devices

3) Check the BIOS to make sure the ports are enabled and not conflicting.

4) If this is a name brand, check with the manufacturer for a possible bios update or driver.

it is possible to get USB working under windows 95 but it takes a bit of fiddling. I got the USB drivers from www.Download.com if I remember correctly and they worked with win95. Perhaps they will help with your problem.

Another point has he got his USB ports disabled in his bios perhaps this is the problem
