How do you make a game out of Macromedia flash?

Yeah, I guess I see your point. I never personally use them. I code all my games in C++. [smile]

But for those guys out there who aren't committed enough to learn to program (which is quite understandable), they are great, as you can still get a decent game made without touching any code.

If you want to build anything with GameMaker above the level of a Breakout clone, youre going to have to learn to code a little. But I highly recommend going that route anyway. If youre just a hobbyist or game tinkerer, dont spend the years and years learning the ins and outs of a programming language. Use a game creator to test your ideas out. Once youre sure you have a good game on your hands, THEN learn a programming language to fully code your game.
