I''m begging to get a copy of X-Com terror from the deep. I have searched and searched and can''t find it. I soo wish to find civ 1 too. I used to play that all the time on the 486 lap top. Woot! The fun. But it is kinda ironic that you mention old games when you were ratting on teh old engines in my post "Plot fo the Half Life engine" or what ever it was called (I shoulda been simple). I loved the xcom games. They were one of the coolest achievements I can think of. A neat thing to check out. PCGamer did a whole magazine on old games. On it was XCom gold edtion. It is very nice and more stable. I urge you guys to check it out. It is the full edition as well!

Its your time to choose.
The Good ol' days.
First 3 SpaceQuests are total classics. I still like the animation + text + parser combo used by most of Sierra''s early adventures. Apogee''s Commander Keen games and Duke Nukems I played a lot too. Another game I played when I was young was called Rasterscan, I still have it on an old 5.25" disk though it doesn''t work. It was pretty cool too.
Nothing is difficult, only the mind makes it so.
Yeah! X-Com!
Another awesome game was Master of Orion.

Yeah I remember playing Masters of Orion in 11th grade computer science class. That was fun. But I liked Masters of Orion 2 a lot more.

Yeah, I see what you mean ... I used to have fun for hours on end playing old games such as Civ1 (excellent game!) and Commander Keen (a classic sidescroller). By the way, I did enjoy also duking it out w/ my friend on Pong.

I didn''t have the full LORD II, so it was limited. I prefered LORD because there were more people playing it. I love Wolf too. I can''t seem to stop playing it
