OK, I know I said I was gonna work on something organic next, but I couldn''t resist making a video flying through a cave when I figured out how to animate.
Here is a shot from the movie, the whole thing is almost 4 MB, so I''m just gonna put up this pic.

Hey Fantasy Edge, your first picture looks great!
How did you create the chrome texture?
Howdy! ^_^ I'm happy! Cuz?
Cuz yesterday I bought Lightwave 6.0 and
updatet to 6.5. It really rocks. I am going
to post my first (crappy) pictures soon.
(I don't think they will look as good as
my timemachine picture, but I hope to get
used to the new features soon enough...)
Lightwave forever! 8)

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C- beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die. -- Blade Runner
i dont know how i did. it was a built in texture for bryce. it looked coolish so i left it. i needed somthing to do in my long boreing art classes that did shit all.

How did you create the chrome texture?<<
It''s not a texture, it''s a material, composed of 14 channels each representing a different surface property. These properites simulate different physical properties of a surface, and the combination defines how the object''s surface interacts with light in Bryce''s envirioment.
These materials work with the enviroment and light, and so by having for example, high refraction, reflection and no bump mapping, high ambiance and no transapancy as just some of the properties you can create all sorts of impressive materials. But they are not textures and they don''t behave like textures (calculations have to be made for the materials and scene)
Anyway, thought I''d share this with you
Used to have fun creating landscape etc with Bryce...
I''ll stop typing now...

that might explain why bryce is so slow. i like it but it lacks a good free form modeler. everything i did was with primitives
