I have this .max model that I''d like to use but the 3d modelling app I''m working with doesn''t support .max!!! I''ve looked all over the web for a freeware converter that imports .max, but I can''t find any. If you know of any converter that imports .max please tell me. Thanks.......

you wont find a converter for .max but, there are lots for .3ds files. so, in max, just goto file -> export, and export it as a .3ds file. then just search for a converter. you should have a LOT more luck with that!
