mainly, i''m looking for stuff that shows off isometric tile based graphics. this is a rather broad category. full games, partial games, engines(with some sort of demo), editors, utilities fall into it. the book''s main focus is that looking good (as iso games do) isnt as hard as everyone thinks it is. oh, and upon further reflection, java is allowed, provided it''s compiled to WIN32 native code. however... even though i''m allowing all these languages (VB, Java, Delphi), what i don''t want to see is 5,000 entries with none of them in C++. The book''s code is in C++, so other languages should be exceptions and make up a relatively small percentage of the examples. Yes, i do want to include demos in other languages to demonstrate that isometric algorithms are not C++ specific.

Get off my lawn!

iso3d is using a 3D lib ala Darkstone, right?

If my rebuild of my engine gets up to scratch then I might think about submitting it. I ported it from DOS to Win32, but the port isn't fully done. The DOS one was pitiful to say the least, but the upgrade to Win32 has added more life . I expect to have something to show for it in the next few months .

Oh, and it is in C++
