Network Api for XBox Console?

Hello every one, i am developing the network layer for a fisrt person shooter game on PC. the idea is to port this engine to XBox console. i would like to know the API for networking that is used for XBox. so that the network layer remains compatible with the XBox format. usman
I think, the XBox uses DirectX, so probably DirectPlay?

It also has winsock. The Xbox is exactly like a PC.

You need to find the XDK program too
I know there is some third party network "middleware" out there....I remember seeing a post on the main page about it awhile ago. I just can''t seem to find it now.

I looked up both replicanet and raknet, and its not either of those....so perhaps if you keep looking you can find it?

I know it exists, just hope you find it.

Replicanet does support XBox but you need to buy the source version of the library to compile it with the XBox SDK.
