Fighting system
What do you guys think of a hand to hand fighting system that uses the mouse?
eg. left button - hand movements
right button - leg movements
It would be like the Jedi Knight combat system. And where you target your moves will affect the enemy differently.
eg. head - enemy turn groggy, leg movements not stable making him ''imbalance'' making him fall easily and his attack becomes slow
body - his health reduce faster
hands - his hits reduces in damage.
legs - his hits reduces in damage and he bcomes ''imbalance''.

Sounds cool, most fighting games do not have stuff like that. I think the mouse system wouldnt work because making combos/whatever would get too mixed up (move the mouse up, then right then click left to do super attack!) it would be hard to code and hard to learn for the gamers

Is this for a purely "fighting" game? I think I''d like more buttons if that''s the case. If it''s just a fighting system for an RPG or adventure game or something, then it has potential.
What you''ve described here is a little vague, though. Would it be a combination of button/mouse movement to execute a certain move (right click, left-right-left, left click = blazing twirling eyeball lasering kick) or would it be a more direct control scheme (hold right button to put up dukes, swing mouse around to flail arm)?
I''m assuming this will be real-time. Maybe with a little more development, strenghts and weaknesses will begin to emerge.

It would be more of a combo thing.
