I like Half life and the mods for it as my favorite multiplayer games, and I liked the quest for glory games a lot
The Best Game of All Time Is...
Tekken series...best fighter to date...I feel it is the one game series that comes closest to representing martial arts fighting styles, with just the right amount of strategy...Cant wait for the PS2 to hit american shores so I can play Tekken Tag Tournament untill my eyes fall out

TFC....(well it not really a whole game but anyway)
I like team\class based games. Games where teamwork is essential are heaps of fun.... I once played TFC for 36 hours straight
Apart from that my current fav is AOEII, I find that unlike many other strats AOEII doesn''t have any overt weaknesses (that I have found yet) (Anyone remember working out sandbagging by themselves in C&C)
I liked battlezone II but the AI wasn''t done well enough. The strategy AI must have been bare bones, it''s awareness of your actions and intentions was low. The 3d AI (tanks) were given reflexes that were too good and not natural. Remember ducking and weaving online to throw off the enemies aim, it makes no difference to BZII.
That leads me to think that just about all strategy AI''s and 3d AI''s should be pretty similar. Same there isn''t a STL like AI so companies can start making good AI''s in every game.
It''s funny but the game I''m making is a cross between TFC and BZII... No strategy elements though...

Starcraft
Lots of games are good but after a while you stop playing them. Starcraft is one of those games you just keep going back to. I''ve played hundreds of games and I''ll probably play a hundred more before warcraft III comes along and replaces it. (just don''t play hunters or BGH though)
In single player Zelda for snes is probably the best I''ve ever played.

Baldur''s Gate because I played through it 3 times with 3 seperate characters and still had fun. And because it proved that 2D games could look and play (in my mind) as well, if not better than any 3D game. Alright. Maybe its because I have an old computer (PII 233 with VOODOO and EAX)and can''t play as many 3D games as I''d like...

"The computer programmer is a creator of universes for which he alone is the lawgiver...No playwright, no stage director, no emperor, however powerful, has ever exercised such absolute athority to arrange a stage or a field of battle and to command such unswervingly dutiful actors or troops." - Joseph Weizenbaum-Brent Robinson

My fav game must be Civilization II. I just love crushing the smaller civilizations... *Evil laughter*

I don''t think I have ONE favorit game. But I loved:
Day Of The Trentacle(as someone already mentioned),
Sim City 2000, Trasportation Tychoon, Rollercoaster Tychoon,
Half-Life, GTA, Civ 2, C&C(all of them), Total Annihilation.
And the BEST RPG I''ve ever played was: Secret of Mana
Because that ROCKED!

I agree with Mindwipe, Secret of Mana was for sure one of the best RPG''s I''ve ever played. Another one was Soulblazer (both snes), especially liked the music. Some other all-time favorites are (no, I can''t specify only one):
- Civilization I & II (hah! come on, whole world, try to defeat *me*)
- Indy 4 (Dr. Jones, I presume)
- D.o.t.T. (Maniac Mansion 2)
- Half-Life (still love to play it)
- Sam''n''Max (now just splat that rabbit! *g*)
- Tomb Raider II (classic, the others were just crap)
- Jedi Knight (use the force, luke... err... kyle)
- Might''n''Magic series (move, tab, save, win)
- Albion (nuff said)
I miss ye good ol'' adventures''n''RPG''s
