Lol, indeed.
I discussed this with my brothers and girlfriend, and I guess we came to the conclusion that
1) It''s lame to MAKE the player play either the warrior, wizard or thief-character. Mixing skills should be fun, but it isn''t fun if you can''t complete the game doing it.
2) The best solution to this, is designing the missions/quests so that they ARE possible to complete in different ways, and somehow let the JoaT-guy actually BENIFIT from knowing a lot of different skills - as it should be.
3) I don''t think, and I think my brothers and my girlfriend agreed with me in the end, that great mission design is A) very hard and B) not enough. I therefore think some kind of Creativity system is needed, for the game to be enjoyable by someone who doesn''t want to play the "simple-minded" characters.
