It''s very... anime... Is this what you''re working on after X2 is done? Overall it''s very Xenogears, I take it that was one of your big inspirations? The fighting systems seems cool, but I''m not too sure about the multiple plane system. Because the game is 3D I would personally rather see a fully 3D fighting engine (perhaps with lockon) or at least more than 3 layers of fighting planes, maybe with the ability to attack into adjacent planes. You guys have access to PS2 devkits at school? That''s pretty cool. Will you be using Renderware or something?

Hey,

No it's not after X² heh.

It really was originally designed before Xenogears and I haven't taken a lick of inspiration from it as odd as it may seem.

It derives much more inspiration from the Street Fighter Alpha,Marvel vs. Capcom, and Guardian Heroes series than anything. I guess world exploration can best be compared to Final Fantasy style.
