New game design !
I am a independent game designer and I have created a new game called " Connect & Capture ".
Connect & Capture - A game of mixing dots and boxes with chess. Completing a box activates the enclosed chess piece, capturing other chess pieces !
Connect & Capture can be seen at: http://www.geocities.com/alpine_rick_2000
Your comments regarding this game would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I have also created another game called the " Origami snowflake game ". This game can be seen at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/origami_game

I am not going to code my Connect & Capture game because I can''t do the coding.
It''s just a pencil and paper game for now.
If this game is " coded ", the chess pieces will " move " to the square of the chess piece that it captures, just like in regular chess.
How long do you think it would take to code this game ?

depends on the graphical nature of the game, and the expirtese of programmers and artists. Probably a month for a decent game, 2 or 3 for some nice graphics, and maybe half a year for a commercial quality piece. (considering your an average programmer and artist) 2-4 years working in both
