It looks very nice, but it''s completly unplayable for me. I get 3 fps... I have a 1.33 ghz amd cpu and a geforce 2 PRO.

25MB?? That''s an insane size for 56k-ers like myself. Screenshots look good though.

I haven''t had a chance to download it, but a couple of comments...

1. Change the graphics to look less like the aliens from the film. The Aliens are copyrighted and owned by 20th Century Fox, and they have been known to shut down games and mods which infringed on their copyright.

2. Sounds like it could do with a bit of optimizing - A GeforceFX is a pretty steep requirement. If you can get it to run on a 700MHz athlon + Geforce 2, I might download it.

He said "geforce _gfx_ card".. gfx as in, "graphics", not "fx". IOW, any geForce card should do.

even when i was on dialup 25MB wasnt that big.

you must have a fast dialup! ive had dialup (56K) for quite a while and it turns out that i get about 1 meg every 4 minutes when i download. 1 meg = 4 minutes, 5 megs = 20 minutes, 25 megs = 1 hr 40 minutes.

anyway, the screenshots look pretty good man. it looks like youve put quite a bit of work into this.

Yes, it wasn''t THAT big. But you can''t do anything else (in the Internet) while downloading
I will still download a 60MB file, with Download Accelerator, if that file is extremely important, like Borland JBuilder or some system files, but it usually takes days to complete.
