WEll, AP, in reply to your first question, right now we are accepting all types of medieval art. However, things that will most likely get into the game are illustations. But if there are some good 3D modelers out there then I URGE YOU to send me samples. If we could get full 3D pictures for everything, I would be a very generous and happy person.

The company name is V&O Software, we are located in Nebraska, and currently looking to employ staff, both to pay, and some to not. If you are interested in any kind of job that you have the time and resources to commit to, please contact me.

We will be paying our payroll employers by whatever works best in conjunction with us and the hypothetical person. Ex. If someone has a paypall account, and wants the money wired to them, its possible that we wills et up a paypall account ourself, and transfer the money. Others may prefer it through mail. We are a group of people that is easy to deal with, so whatever the circumstances are, if we are interested, it will most likely work out.

Ian, I did not get your email. Please send it again to
will_reccos@hotmail.com

Keep the samples coming!

Thank you,

Hi Vilhelm, does your company have a website, or at least a website for this project? If not it would probably help you recruit good help and show off the progress of your projects.

is it really possible to sell a text based game these days?
Absolutely, for too long people have bought games for flashy graphics instead of gameplay.
Our game is very balanced, and it makes sense. The game play will most definetaly make up for the lack of graphics. Also , as I mentioned before, it will not be like any other text-based game. The full version will have full pictures for evey item, skill, stat, and location. A majority of these will be 3D models. It is also more in depth then most others. With 7 stats, many skills, numerous enemy types, alignment that changes, plenty of different Races and Classes to choose from, each of those being expandable, and fun interaction with NPC''s , im sure it will be fine....
But I guess it won''t be possible to sell it to a person that is close-minded as you seemed to be in your last post.
The full version will also have online multiplayer capablities, where the players from around the world will be able to interact, both with gameplay, and chat. You will be able to forge alliances, create enemies, or remain completely neutral in the ever-changing world.

I welcome any further questions about our game.

Don''t be worried about weather i''m closed minded or not. it''s the average joe gamer there you have to think about.

you havn''t described any features in this thread that would take your game beyond something like morrowind (except maybe changing alignment but that happens in lots of games), which has incredibly beautiful grahpics AND very good in-depth gameplay.

I''m not knocking your project. It was a simple matter of curiosity. gone were the days of being able to sell a game that didn''t spoon-feed you a visual space to exist in as far as i knew. our imaginations ARE deteriorating you know .

kudos to you if you can prove me wrong. best of luck to you.
OF COURSE I haven''t listed all the features. If I went ahead and started listing everything about the game, its exact design, and what would make it different from other games, It wouldn''t be unique for very long.

Why would I release more information than I have. Don''t you realize that most of the people that are actually in the process of completing games are not ALLOWED to tell you anything about their game? This is common sense. And I realize that the lack of graphics is not a great thing.

So of course there are other features that make it unique, that I have not yet listed...so you can take your incoherent comments, your pointless cruiosity, and your unhelpful posts, and stick em'' right up your a$$. Because they are quite pointless.

Another point that I would like to bring up, is the fact that it will have 3D models, sure thats not actual moving graphics, but its something to give the players a visual image. And I''m sorry that your imagination IS deteriorating. ....Maybe you should go see a doctor about that....and while your there you can get all of your many other mental problems checked up on...

BTW, lets see you write anything that sells better then Morrowind, or even make one that is "beyond" Morrowind...

haha...DEAR!

getting a bit stroppy? i''m sorry if i stuck a pin in your fragile little bubble. i guess i assumed you''d be a bit more mature about discussing things.

My point was that there are games out there with beautiful graphics and gameplay to match. so how do you compete with that?

the fact that you get easily worked up about this tells me all i need to know.

i''ll go get my mental problems checked up now.....such a terrible thing that i would try to have a discussion with a person about the state of the gaming industry. i''ll get them to pump me full of drugs and give me a lobotomy.

I''d like to see me make something better than morrowind too. i can assure you it sure as hell wouldn''t be a text game.

if your as good a game designer as you are at being a wanker though you''ll go platinum. can''t wait...
