game terrain modelling with 3dsmax
Is there anyone experienced in 3D-game terrain modelling with 3dsmax? I wrote a little tool which lets me "paint" terrain from a simple plane by modifying the z-pos of the vertices. It lets me paint textures on that plane as well selecting texture ids by slope and altitude. The problem is how to create transitions between the textures since max viewports don''t support multitexturing...
