Im currently working on a particle based 2D dynamic terrain engine.
My goal is to be able to reduce the entire terrain to rubble with my rocket launcher

Current Project: Upgrade to .NET and DirectX 9
Percent Complete: X%
Ugh... cut & paste (for ) isn''t properly working on this Mac...
Anyhow, about particle-based terrain... you''ve just gotta make a 3D version of Tanks once you finish that engine. :D
I''ve always wanted to see that. As anyone who''s played the shareware game Pocket Tanks can testify, the game is far from dead.

I am making a 3D game engine for an action RPG using Direct3D.
The game primarily uses the keyboard because I haven't figured out how to project a mouse click on the 3D space. The game is melee based, each slash action in the game is usually a two-button sequence (rising and striking). The power of each slash is based on the swing, so by careful sequencing you can create very strong/fast combos. To kill a typical enemy you'll need to press the numpad 10 to 20 times, while your left hand control leg movements.
Right now I am trying to improve the special effects, GUI, to skin the models, and to make more interactive objects.
Progress = 5% (but already playable)
A Screenshot of the game.

My personal project (an isometric RPG) is probably about 1% done. I never have time to work on it, so last time I touched it was about... maybe last October.
The project I''m working on with 2 other people for school is about 80 - 90% done I''d say. That guess is just that, a complete guess. But... beta is due Friday, so... it better be about that.
I''m learning, just like the best of us...
Ok, now assume a spherical cow...
