Getting started with 3D
I need some help getting started with 3D modeling. I don''t know where really to begin. What software should I use (I want free stuff, but low cost would also be alright)?
I have never really touched a modeling program before.
Any help is appreciated.

well you might want to use Blender but right now I can''t say it''s has many advantages for beginners...
If interested go to www.blender3d.org. There you get the program(it''s opensource), check the beginner''s tutorials and you will be on your way.

HONESTLY....use Truespace v1 or 2 they are free and very easy to use, also the program works very much like its bigger more expencive counterparts ! and its FREE. I started out with this and now im fluent in 3dmax which is kinda cool...but people will disagree prob.
