Can anyone help me on this issue? I have a hex tile map, and I dont know how to design 8-10 base tile set with transition water-sand, sand-grass, etc. I whould appreciate some sample tiles from you.... And anything about group units movement... I really dont like to calculate a path for every unit from the same group is slow and have no sense Thanks Crirus

for the transition issue, it''s a Visual Arts problem, plus I believe there is an article or two in the Isometric part of the Resources section of this fine website.
As for the movement, you want A* (most probably) and you should ask about it in the Artificial Intelligence forum. Or look for Amit Patel''s resources, or dig the Resources section (you wouldnt believe the amount of useful stuff in there).

So, GET DIGGING !!!

I have all A* stuff already, for Hex tiles... I just search for a good management of maps and transition tile set for hexes... I digged for it and found just izometrics samples... I''m not that good on graphics and look for some free models until I get closer with photoshop
