rotation
Hi, i''m a bit new to direct-x programming and i would like to know how to rotate a picture in direct draw. Example: I have a space-ship and i want to make the top of it go to the south instead of the north.
In my world there nothing else than numbers
In addition to his question.... I know they merged DirectDraw in recent releases of DirectX. I recall (*i think*) reading somewhere that rotations on a bitmap image are incredibly slow and processor intensive as opposed to rotating a mapped 3d object. Is it *better/possible to rotate an image which is actually a map onto a plane.... and just rotate the plane? Still doing a lot of reading here and I need to break open the Guru book again. As i said n earlier post, i''m just getting back into GPing, so bear with my noobiness. (1st day of Class again, its C++ basics... jeez am i bored)
