sorry, I''m a real newbies about sound programming. I need to mix several samples ( 8bits mono ) at the same frequence into one single sample and I don''t even know how to do such easy task. Should I simply add ( and clamp or saturate ) the values ( bytes ) ? or process the average of the values ? thanks in advance.

You can really do either one. Adding them is more acoustically genuine, but averaging them will eliminate the need to clamp.
