Multi dimensioned arrays at runtime

In my opinion this point is pretty moot. Unless you need a LOT of memory, just allocate it non-dynamically. You may have some wasted memory, but in general you can afford it. Not to mention that new/delete are slow as hell and should generally not be done in a time-critical loop ever.
