Yo! You guys should check out the Allegro library. It used to be just for Dos using the DJGPP compiler, but now it works with Windows, Linux and BeOS. It''s really easy to work with and a lot of people have written tutorials and have released source code for it. Also, some people are working on giving it OpenGL support so soon it''ll be able to do 3d. One really cool thing about it is that you can write your code as if you were writing a dos app. No need for win32 or mfc or any system specific code. The official website is at http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/ There''s also an ''Allegro Idiots'' website for people who are starting out with allegro at http://allegro.webjump.com/
Do you think it is going to support PPC one of those days ?
