I don''t think that there''s a 16 bit DJGPP version for DOS. If you want a 16 bit C compiler, you could try Borland''s Turbo C. You can download it for free at Borlands website. Go to the downloads section, fill up some form and download the zip file.

i can''t download anything from that computer because it can''t use internet..and i''m just using a tv browser..so downloading is out of the question...is there any sites that sell software for a c compiler for a 1986-1987 IBM computer?

its prolly imb-ps2 88 without hard disk and 5.12" floppy, so try getting into ROM-BASIC on bootup 8)
if not then find dos3.x(or stripped-down 6.x whatever) and run gwbasic or qbasic from there, this sounds most like it
or, you can use tasm, turboc, or turbo pascal (which is prolly not gonna fit on disk) , or better yet
dos debugger, as i did on my xt when that 20meg harddisk exploded and i had just one boot floppy for couple of months.
