Dev Diary #123 - Last Week, In Summary 21: General Update

Hi, and welcome to this weeks Dev Diary, the short version!

Last week went along the following topics;

  • Character interaction logistics - how to make interactions as simple as possible, while retaining the immersion. (on paper). Some case studying was made from Kingdom Come: Deliverance, how to do and how not to do some of the interactions.
  • Weighting the options for the direction I would wish the first title to go; Either the RTS elements are not as big of a factor as I would like to see, or the RPG elements might not be as immersive as I would have wished for them to be. To develop one layer of a bigger whole, one at a time is still an option though.
  • Weighting the design options regarding the website - most likely it will remain as a simple page for the time being, without the more extensive sub-menu system, as to save time and effort until it is really needed and direct the efforts on the RTS game title.
