An especially eerie October awaits Core creators and players with the Spooky Jam, a Halloween game creation contest that begins today.
Now through October 26, Core is calling on its creators to build spine-tingling and hair-raising games, with a prize pool of $5,000 for the games that best capture the spirit of All Hallows’ Eve!

With five diverse prize pools, not everything needs to be jump scares and screams.
While creators can get their horror fix in categories like “Twisted Fairytales,” “Haunted Abodes,” “Sci-Fi Horror” and “Secure, Create, Protect,” the “Halloween Celebration” category offers even the most sentimental creators a shot at a prize for honoring the joy that Halloween brings to so many.

Winners of each category (plus a few special awards) will be announced October 29 and will be featured on Core’s front page through Halloween.
