I don''t believe there are any dedicated hosts out there that will host indie servers.

The cheapest way to host your server is to get a broadband connection. If you want to get into net programming, it''s one of the costs you need to consider. I personally have an unrestricted business line I use which means I can do whatever I want.

Depending on what kind of maintainance your program needs, I could potentially host it on my server. You''d need to e-mail with all the details of your program. If it''s not a click and forget program it''s probably not going to happen.

There used to be tons of people out there hosting MUD servers, you could probably get an account with one of them. Just go to Google.com and search for MUD hosting.
