Anyone know of a decent pop3 email client for X? Also I''d prefer it not to be dependent on KDE or gnome because I don''t run either as I use FVWM2 (gotta love a light weight window manager + highly customizable). Thanks! xfmail''s pretty nice. Not very graphically pretty, but it gets the job done, including PGP/GPG/whatever other encryption support.

Mozilla has a decent one built in. Pine is also very good, although its console not GUI. Just because you dont run a gnome or kde session doesnt mean you cant use gnome or kde apps, as most useful apps on linux are one or the other.
Yeah, Mozilla''s email client''s quite nice as well, but it''s much more resource heavy (as is mozilla in general), and you have to put up with the slowness of starting it (unless, of course, you''ve already got a mozilla window opened).

I tried mozilla, it was nice for a browser, but as mentioned by CmdrM, it is resource intensive and I''m looking for light apps becuase I''m using linux on a laptop. Mozilla was slow to load on this machine because it has 32megs of ram, plus I''ll be using xchat and gaim while browsing the web.

I did find a nice email client tho, its called sylpheed. It can be found on sourceforge.

There''s always evolution but it''s mainly a gnome app. Although, I use it with Fluxbox even if Flux isn''t totally gnome friendly, I think this is being worked on. Not sure though.
