Just wandering how u guys create 2D sprites and backgrounds? Is there a GFX program dedicated in creating 2D animations (besides Mojo), maybe from a 3D source? How was the GFX in Abe''s Oddysey created?

Any graphics programs can be used to create game graphics, why shouldn''t it? But some people seem to prefer doing 2D animations in a 3d animation program first, and then export it as bitmaps.
