Why don''t you try specifying what game you are making and we might be able to help you. It seems like you''re one of them "I wanna make a game, but I don''t know what kind of game" kind of people. Go home and think.

I love tomb-raider and if youre gonna do a game i would be happy if you done it with a similar character...=)So a adveture game would be nice...

Do anybody know if theres anothers swedish girls on gamedev?.....jag känner mig ensam...=(....

Yeah, Tomb Raider's the best. Something like that will more shooting and less puzzles would please most people I know. (I personaly like the puzzles but I also like blowing things up. Maybe Lora with a BFG! Now wouldn't that look funny?)

My favorate thing about the game is exploring new places. There's a lot of areas in the game you don't need to visit to get through but they're fun to find.

Also, DONT make those stupid mazes. I hate being stuck in a maze, making every right hand turn to get out. It's never fun and I personaly get motion sickness from that. (to much spinning)

Things i like in games, from a more general game-play perspective:
- High scores
- Multiplayer, via internet, lan, or splitscreen doesnt matter
- Cool music / sound
- etc.

The most important thing is for you to decide what kind of games YOU like! There are tons of different kinds of games out there, and everyone has different tastes. If you''re going to spend two years working on this thing, you want it to be something you are really excited about, not just what we say we like. If all of us told you that we only like home kitchen simulators, would you go out and make one? Maybe, if you too were a SimOven afficionado, but most likely it would bore you and you''d never finish making the gave that you didn''t care about in the first place.

Once you figure that out, and then have a general idea of what you''d like to do in your game, we can offer input from there. But we can''t design it from scratch for you.
