KERNEL32.DLL error on my computer
I keep get kernel32.dll errors on some of my programs in my computer. How can i fix this.
You''ll have to provide more information. What version of Windows are you running? Are these programs ones that you wrote or are they ones you got off the web? Are they advanced programs like Photoshop or are they helper programs like Winzip. At what point in the programs lifetime do the errors show up - at startup or shutdown or when performing a particular task? Can the error be recreated? Can you purposefully induce the errors? Have you contacted the programs vendor? What do they say?

Stop downloading Porn. You probably have a virus. HEHE.
But seriously, watch what you download, hackers can place viruses in .jpg, .mpg, .exe, .vbs and many other formats. If the error is occuring whenever you launch many of your programs, it''s very possible that you have a corrupt Kernal32.dll file. Possibly from a virus, possibly from a past Windows crash, possibly just a fluke, who knows. There could be a variety of reasons.
But if your getting the error when running many of your programs, try locating the file on your Windows Installation CD, extract the file from its compressed form, then replace your (possibly) corrupt kernal file with the one that you extracted.
Hope this helps.
