Defeated by my own game =)

It''s not so horrible when you get defeated by your own AI is it? I mean the ego one creates from seeing their creation master other minds (including one''s own) lends itself to personal satisfaction. Yet when I realize that I am implementing a checkers game, and the AI component dosen''t even know how to jump yet, (Meaning it can only move...) but it beat me. (Sounds impossible, but actually it''s interesting...) In checkers making it so your opponent can''t move while you still can is as good a win as any. Of course in the beginning I slautered the helpless AI. Alas, in the end it had the final laugh as I watched in horror as it had a single king, with all 4 of it''s home row filled. ( I had all my pieces obviously) It simply moved the king back and forth (as to further humiliate me) and I had no choice to move my pieces until they were unable to countinue. Sigh, maybe next time :-) If all that matters is what you get in the end, why go through life? ~Michael Sikora
Your opponent cannot keep his back row filled indefinitely, as soon as you move a piece next to one of them, you will have created a gap by your opponent taking that piece.

The AI opponent does not know how to jump yet. I realize it dosen''t suit the game rules.

Agreed!! Loosing to the computer is only OK when I've created the AI myself

Pride takes over!
