I recommend the "Beginners guide to C++" by Oleg Yaroshenko Its a great book, beginning easily, and introducing new concepts one at a time. The examples are useful, and it covers in good detail the basics of OOP, inheritance polymorphism and encapsulation. Its explanation of pointers is the best ive seen. enjoy!
