dear friends i have developed some games in c/c++ not many but i have some idea of how to go for a new problem.i am doing mca and learning vc++,i have fair knowledge of c/c++. now i am thinking of developing games in vc++,but question is whether i should start with SDK ,MFC or MFC wizard. actually i am not getting depth of this. so dear friends i would like u people to suggest me. if possible if u have started in vc++ early ,pl. suggest me some books i can use and other relating sites.

MFC is good to make tools.. but not suitable for games usually. SDK is more difficult in the beginning perhaps, but lightweight..

Learning vc++? It sounds weird to me. vc++ is an IDE for c/c++ on windows platform. I guess you mean windows programming. You can always dig MSDN and check sample codes. If you use sdk, there isn''t too much to learn anyways (for game programming)..

PS: MFC and MFC wizard are the same things in principle.
