''Lo folks. I''m working on a little shareware arcade game and am wondering about texturing for it. Here''s a quick and dirty mockup for it. Here''s also a few ships I''m using, btw. As you can see with the mockup view, the 3D models are going to be very small. In terms of making textures, does anyone have any technical advice or tips? I''m still a modeling / art newbie, but my plan is to do some simple 16 x 16 textures in Photoshop, use LithUnwrap to skin the model, and then save it all in a DirectX friendly format. I can''t see any problems, but I did notice in LithUnwrap that when I zoomed out one of my textured models I got a lot of weird triangular artifacts. I''m thinking that has more to do with Lith''s gfx engine than my art, but I''m not sure. Advice appreciated... -------------------- Just waiting for the mothership...
