I know this sounds funny. But i need tutor who can help me learn 3ds max fast. If there is someone out there who has nothing better to do then to give me a few pointers please msg me. I would be really happy indeed Thanks people!

Just in case someone doesn''t come along with the time to tutor you. You may want to look at the tutorials that come with 3d studio max. They are very detailed and allow you to step by step complete little projects that help you learn the basics. I learned most of the basic stuff in a weekend.

Yep, cd-2 from 3dsmax 4 is a good starting point. But, this tutorial came with some errors/misspelling :-(

In any case, you don''t learn 3dsmax, you learn "how to models", "how to animate" ..., because 3dsmax is some big for learn all.

Yea the tutorials would''ve been helpfull but i got my version of 3ds max from a friend and to make it smaller he cut out a few stuff like the samples and tutorials ect.

Its not pirated. My friend bought it for the full price. He just shared it with me. And i am planning to get my own educational version. But first i wanted to see whats it like and if i indeed can master it.

My friend took some classes in college and apparently had the money to burn on a copy of max4, he gave it to me but he managed to lose the seconds cd.
Wonder if theres an online mirror of the tutorials somewhere.
