Surfaces in or outside a class?

Is it better to put each of the surfaces in a class of them own with a function to load them from a file and rotate them and so on, or is it better not to put them in a class? Whats you''re opinion?
It depends on your approach. If you want to go the C++ OOP route, you should have a class for more or less everything. This is the way I do things, simply because I think well in OOP and it''s natural for me.
Other people prefer procedural and it comes more naturally for them, so they do things in C and just make globals.
Do whatever makes sense to you, personally, unless of course your teacher or boss specifically tells you you must do it a certain way.
