Performace hit with glPolygonMode
When I render with backfaces culled, textureing on, and filled polys i get about 160fps.
When I set the polygon mode to outline, and turn texureing off i get about 30fps?
There is no loghting of depth testing either, this is with triangle strips, but plain triangles is even slower?

normally GL_LINE is slower than GL_FILL true there might be less drawn on the screen BUT
some drivers will draw one GL_LINE triangle as 3 thin triangles
also most drivers aint really optimized for GL_LINE
