i just dont have the money for books and i want to learn how to program a simple game. Any one who has any knowledge of creating a game to help me. Give me advice, tell me where you started any advice will be appreciated. I will mention you in my gaming project once it is finished.

The section that says "start here" is a good place to start.

There is a ton of information on this site which will explain everything. You forgot to mention if you have ever programmed before, which programming language you use, your experience in programming..etc.

Start here is a good place to go, but if you are just starting and want to learn the basics of programming, there are many good books in the public library. I have found some game programming books as well, but that''s pretty rare, but that''s where I started.
