Who needs a scroll wheel, or a mouse for that matter, when you have vim?

G - Bottom of File
gg - Top of File
0 - begin of line
$ - end of line
w - next word
B - previous word
the list of shortcuts goes on and on

I rarely take my hands off the keyboard now days. I''m glad to be away from that carpal-tunnel syndrome inducing piece of plastic that always gets clogged with dead skin anyway.

Ok for the scroll wheel, go look at the xfree86 how-to and the mouse how-to (if there is one). Ask around on IRC. And as for IDEs, I use kdevelop it works fine for me. I would reccomend you learn to use makefiles then use kdevelop with your make files, and my kdevelop does not show strange caracters at the beginnings of lines, but it also does not show the functions.
''Bout to try out KDEStudio, running dselect... selecting kdestudio... install... done.

Ok from what I see in KDEStudio, i like kdevelop better.

Anjuta is still in beta so...

I would reccomend kdevelop.

I also use Advanced Editor. I downloaded XEmacs, but I don''t know how to install it.
