Technical info on .md3 and GMAX?

How can I export .md3 models from GMAX? Did people say download a temptest game pack or something? Also, where can I get technical information on the .md3 format? It was first introduced by id, right? Edem Attiogbe

You are correct that you need the tempest game pak and that Id created the format.
