Hi all-- I''ve been playing with directmusic for a day and a half now, and have yet to hear a single midi note get produced. Anyone have a scrap of code for directmusic? I used the one in the SDK, but since I use C and not C++, I had to make some changes, and those changes evidently fouled it up. Also, does anyone know how to to dynamically set the midi volume when using directmusic? I want to have my songs fade in and out in volume without actually changing the volume tags on the midi track. I figure if I couldn''t do it with directmusic, I would just set the sequencer volume on the Windows sound control panel, ''cept I can''t find any information on that. Can anyone assist?
