Trade wars
Hello there,
Im working on a remake of trade wars 2002.
Some people who are familiar with the game might know it has a lot to do with space travel :-)
I however want to make it with a bigger setting using the internet and running the game real time.
Travel was computed using turns in the original, but I am thinking of making the player wait realtime (like in planetarion)
Would that be generaly acceptable and how long would you like to wait.
The wait will probably be incremental, so the further you go, the more time you spend traveling.
This should make coops more fun and inspire tactics.
Any ideas?
Thanks for the help :-)

Just make sure you don''t make the waits too long, or people will just get bored. Unless you could do other things while you are travelling.

Yes there will be other things to do.
Actualy, it should be possible for the player to command his other ships too
New players only have one ship and not much diversion, but they shouldnt be flying too far perhaps.
