ok, so i knwo this isnt a comment, suggestion or idea, but i need to know what is more valuable to a game studio, a degree in computer science from a college/university or a degree in "game design" from full sail/digipen type school. thanks, Matt ------------------------------ "kill one and your a murderer, kill thousands and your a conquerer" "We must move forwards not backwards, upwards not forwards, and always twirling, twirling towards freedom."

I would have to say the full degree. While entry level positions MAY accept both, the higher paying and supervisory positions won''t be available unless you have the more rounded education...unless you luck into things.

are there any advantages that would be provided by obtaining a ful degree and then attending full sail/digipen?, thanks, Matt

More of a rounded education. I bet the english, and history type stuff is better at a non gaming school. Also learning stuff like ASP, databases, and other non game related programming can help out your game programming allot. I know that working with the Linux kernel has changed the way I code for games.
